Interviewing Ms. Liao and Ms.Yo |

Not every ensemble learner has foundation of music. So some progress slower. But their slow progress is still an achievement to teachers. In the first period, some kids had very little progress, but we didn't give up and we kept teaching. Gradually, they showed progress. We feel glad. Some kids just learn slowly. We shouldn't press them, but just simplify the content of course.
We give classes by going to 1 school after another. It lets teachers to travel many places. And when we music-workers take the same car, we can promote our friendship or share teaching experience.

Conducting students requires much patience. |
There are different levels of music learners. Students of country schools cherish the learning chance more, and they are more obedient.
To promote every student is a great challenge because some learn faster, and some learn slower. Students with higher parents-participation progress faster. If students don't progress, the teachers wouldn't be anxious but they would realize the students with more patience and use other ways to help them. Such as asking students to practice with listening to CD. But not every student has the equipment to play CD. Problems like this require teachers to find out and help with.
We need parents' cooperation and supervision on kids. In the beginning of teaching, we were not used to have parents in the classroom. But later, we contrarily would like parents to be with us. If any parents think the progress is too slow, we will invite them to go on CSEDL Website to watch the video of kids' practice to help supervise kids' practice. After we have taught a composition, we will let kids practice it for 1 week, record their playing, and put their video of result-performing onto CSEDL Website.
